2003-12-3 I don't want the chore of keeping chips out of those teeth. I fight that problem on my dial caliper all too much. The 8520 is a good mill. If space is your problem, it is a good candidate, also is a Rockwell mill is simmilar. I really like my mill, which is why I can ramble on about it almost endlessly. The clausing is in my basement.

If you get desperate hook up with Gunner, who probably only has 250 or so new motors in his back yard, ya just have to haul the sailboat out of the way and climb into the big steel box .. Try ebay. You can add a DRO (Mitutoyo from penntoolco for $595), if it doesn't already have one, and end up with a non-mainland-Chinese machine for less than the Grizzly. One difference in the Lagun is that it is taller than a Bridgeport by a couple of inches, which might make a difference to you if you aren't tall.
